About Me

Emily Pai - Graphic Designer - Raleigh, NC

My name is Emily, but you can call me “Em” for short. I studied both Visual Communications and Sociology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated in 2017.

I started off my journey at Shiftwazard, Inc. where I worked alongside the team there to help out with blog posts, social media graphics, and plans to roll out the company’s mobile app. The next, and current, chapter of my journey takes place at JAGGAER, where I became a part of a global team and interacted with individuals from various countries.

How would I describe myself? My go-to phrases include “hard working” and “enthusiastic”, but these are also descriptions that come as part of a package.

If my team ever needs help, I’m always happy to support, and my experience covers a wide variety of tasks. This is not limited to creating designs for various print and web documents, tradeshow materials, creating mock ups, social media graphics, and assets needed for web design layouts.

Fun Facts 

• If you happen to know Mandarin and are wondering what my last name means, you may be surprised. The character for my name is "白" (white), which is pronounced as "bai" instead of "pai".

• Adaptability is key! I tend to thrive in fast-paced environments, and I truly enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes after a job well-done!

• What do I do in my free time? Recently, I’ve started taking an interest in video editing. In my free time, I’ll watch a few videos on the topic on YouTube.
